#5 Las Vegas Raiders sign Mack Hollins in free agency
The Las Vegas Raiders need to make an impact in free agency, and they might be doing that with former Dolphins wide receiver Mack Hollins. He might not be the biggest signing Las Vegas has this season, but he will have an effect. He had four touchdowns last season, giving the Raiders another much-needed endzone threat to help ease the pressure on Derek Carr. The Las Vegas sports world is always looking for a new underdog-type receiver to get behind, and Hollins fits that role perfectly.
The deal is said to be a one-year offer that should allow Holins to prove himself to the organization as time goes on. He might even help the team on special teams if Las Vegas wants to try that strategy.

#4 Kurt Busch discusses success and failures during NASCAR’s west coast swing
Las Vegas native Kurt Busch has had an up-and-down start to the 2022 NASCAR season, and while some of that has to do with his new team, the new next-gen car is also playing a role in his learning curve. Fortunately for Busch, he collected his second top-ten and first top-five of the season last week at Phoenix Motor Speedway. Busch even had the honor of being the top-performing Toyota in the field.
"We were okay on older tires – usually, I'm a sticker (new tire) guy. My crew chief, Billy Scott, said 'No, you are going to stay out, buddy.' I need sticker tires and this car reacted really well to scuffs today, so that's good for our notebook at 23XI," Busch explained. "We were just trying to get to 10th, but we will take a top-five. It's really cool for our program," he said. "This was a good West Coast swing. Not so much on points with Stage 1 and Stage 2, but our finishes were there, and we will keep chiseling away."
Busch currently sits 11th in points, and his top-five finish at Phoenix gives the team something to work with on other mile tracks on the NASCAR Circuit. It might even be what helps improve Bubba Wallace Jr's start to the season, which has bordered on abysmal after his second-place finish in the Daytona 500.

#3 Las Vegas Raiders cut Carl Nassib during 2022 NFL offseason.
Carl Nassib made history earlier this year by coming out as the first openly gay player in the NFL, and the Las Vegas Raiders went out of their way to support him. Unfortunately for Nassib, he was cut from the organization last week, most likely because he only started five games last season racked up just four sacks and six tackles for a loss. That's just not enough to justify keeping him.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN.com, the move will save the Raiders eight million dollars of cap space and give them 32 million heading into free agency. That's a lot of money to play with, and while it came at the expense of Nassib, it will hopefully go to good use.

#2 Robin Lehner might miss the rest of the regular season for The Las Vegas Golden Knights
It's no secret that things don't look good for the Las Vegas Golden Knights heading into the playoffs, but according to Frank Seravalli of the Ice Breakers podcast, it's about to get worse. Goalie Robin Lehner could be out for the rest of the regular season. Seravalli confirmed that Lehner was diagnosed with a Patella fracture and a crack in his kneecap, which left him on crutches when he was heading home. A timetable for Lehner's return is unknown, but some experts fear he could be out for the rest of the regular season.
Unfortunately for Las Vegas and Lehner, that is likely a best-case scenario.

#1 Davante Adams gets traded to The Las Vegas Raiders for a pair of draft picks.
While it was assumed that the signing of Aaron Rodgers meant Davantae Adams would stay with the Green Bay Packers, that turned out not to be the case. In fact, the former Pro Bowl wide receiver asked to be traded to the Raiders just days after Rodgers's contract extension was announced.
Adams will now come to Las Vegas and team up with Derek Carr, who needs another weapon in his receiving arsenal. Watching the two together should be very interesting. Not only does this give opposing defenders one more stand-out receiver to cover, but it also allows Carr to capitalize on his throwing power. This is a big move for the Las Vegas Raiders and could be the impetus for a playoff run at the end of the season.
