5 Toughest Games on the Las Vegas Raiders' 2022 Schedule

Raider Nation will want to pay attention to these five key Las Vegas Raiders matchups in 2022. Will Las Vegas survive the NFL season?

#5 Las Vegas Raiders vs Tennessee Titans (Week 3)

The Las Vegas Raiders' first true test will come against the Tennessee Titans. It's no secret that Derrick Henry is one of the best rushers in the NFL and Las Vegas seems to struggle against the run. There's also Ryan Tannehill, who is a very hard Quarterback to stop. If Josh McDaniels and company want to win this game, it's all going to come down to stopping the run and bullying the Titans in the air.

#4 Las Vegas Raiders vs Denver Broncos (Week 4)

Despite this being a home game, the Las Vegas Raiders are really coming into this game as an underdog. Not only is that evident by Denver’s rock-solid defense that ranked 10th in the NFL last year, but also due to the addition of Russel Wilson as Quarterback. This creates a situation where Derek Carr is going to have to beat a former Super Bowl MVP Quarterback and who knows if he is up to that task? Or will the Bronco's defense just steamroll them? This is a must-win for Las Vegas and it will also set the tone for the game in November.

#3 Las Vegas Raiders vs Los Angeles Rams (Week 13)

This is where it gets interesting ladies and gentlemen. The Las Vegas Raiders were knocked out of the playoffs in the wildcard round by the team that got beat by the Los Angeles Rams in the Super Bowl. This means Las Vegas will be going up against The defending Super Bowl champions in a game that would mean a lot of they could win. It could also set the tone for another playoff run. Mathew Stafford's consistent numbers and Cooper Kupp's ability to find the ball could spell big trouble for Las Vegas.

#2 Las Vegas Raiders vs The New England Patriots (Week 14)

The Patriot way produced the second most dominant defense in the NFL last season and their offense was pretty good too. Add in the fact that this is a Sunday Night Football game, and you have all the makings of an instant classic.  The pressure will be on the Las Vegas Raiders to perform in this one, and it starts with Derek Carr not choking under pressure. They also need to establish a good running game and do something to disrupt Mac Jone’s consistency. Las Vegas won't win unless they can stop the offense. The Raiders will also need to capitalize on the depth of their wide receiver roster, which will give they an array of versatile weapons.

#1 Las Vegas Raiders vs The Kansas City Chiefs (Week 17)

This is the big one. The game will probably decide whether the Las Vegas Raiders make the playoffs or not. Standing in their way will likely be a very stout Patrick Mahomes and one of the most dangerous offenses in the league. Their defense has shown cracks though, which Las Vegas might be able to capitalize on. It's all a matter of who has more left in the tank at the end of the season and that’s a hard question to answer. It will be a hell of a game though! The last couple of times these two teams met have been interesting, setting the course for a very high stakes end of the season banger!
