If you are not afraid of heights, you should visit the Strat, the tallest observation tower in Nevada. You can do a controlled sky-jump from 1149 feet in the air. But if you don't have the courage to do it yourself, you can still enjoy the thrills from watching others attempt this very exhilarating jump and viewing the city from the observation deck.
2. Act like a clown at Circus Circus
Known for its world-class shows, the elaborate Circus Circus hosts events every night to entertain its guests. The performers are very talented, and the shows are free to watch. Get there early to get a front seat; you may also get a chance to act like a clown.
3. Visit the Neon Museum
The old neon signs of the bubbly city are displayed at this museum. Also known as the light paradise, you'll have a fantastic time strolling through this glowing museum that tells the famous history of Sin city.
4. Take a day trip to the Hoover Dam.
If you enjoy architectural masterpieces, then you should visit the Hoover Dam. It's situated on the Colorado River, not so far from Downtown Las Vegas. It's over 80 years old and is the highest concrete dam in the United States. The Hoover Dam has several economic advantages, in addition to the historical significance that attracts over seven million visitors annually.
5. Eat all you can
No trip to Vegas would be complete without a gluttonous trip to the buffet. Most hotels offer a very reasonable buffet dinner and lunch service - pay a small fee, and you get access to a vast room filled with mountains of food, from steak and shrimps to desserts. The buffet at Wynn and Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace are among the best buffets in Las Vegas.
