7 Cheap Restaurants on the Las Vegas Strip

Saving money when you’re in Vegas isn’t necessarily a priority - After all, it’s Sin City. Gambling, entertainment, and drinks are at the center of almost everything in Vegas, which is why you should consider saving money on food. Vegas is no stranger to establishments that offer great value when it comes to dining in!

1. Shake Shack

A national favorite, Shake Shack can be found at 3790 S Las Vegas Blvd., and is in fact, a functional restaurant on the Strip. Here, you can gorge on some of the most delicious burgers in the U.S.A, taste some rich, creamy milkshakes, and grab some of those waffle-cut fries, which are to die for! The best part? All of this will cost you less than $20. Yes, you heard us, a trip to Shake Shack is very affordable, filling and will give you enough energy to survive the rest of the day in Sin City, all for less than $20!

2. Hash House A Go Go

One of the most refreshing things about the weekend is the breakfast you have the morning after a particularly rough night out! In Vegas, those nights are likely to be much rougher, albeit in a good way. If you’re looking to fuel up after a hard night of partying on the strip, look no further than Hash House A Go Go - As the name might suggest, this is a chain of breakfast restaurants that have an all-day breakfast menu, which is absolutely ideal for days (and nights!) out on the strip!

3. California Pizza Kitchen

CPK for short, California Pizza Kitchen is a west-coast staple and is a very viable option for anyone looking to get some immaculate thin-crust Italian pizzas for a very reasonable price when in Vegas. Pizzas are the perfect Vegas food - They’re packed with carbs to soak up the alcohol, have enough energy to keep you going for hours, and most importantly, they taste absolutely amazing! At CPK, you’ll be able to choose from a ton of different toppings, cheeses, crusts, and more! If pizzas aren’t your thing, they have a ton of pastas, salads, and Italian offerings for a very reasonable price.

4. Tacos El Gordo

There’s a ton of great, authentic Mexican food in Las Vegas, and Tacos El Gordo, which can be found at 3041 S Las Vegas Blvd, is the absolute personification of that. Tacos El Gordo, which literally translates to Tacos of the fat man, has an almost limitless menu with a ton of variety on it. It’s located on the Strip and is particularly well known for its tacos al pastor, tacos de Lengua (beef tongue), and of course, their carne asada, making it a must-try when in Vegas.

5. Lobster, ME

Given its vicinity to the coast (just a short plane ride away), Nevada sees some of the best seafood in the country. Couple that with the huge influx of visitors to the state, and you’re guaranteed to try some of the best and freshest seafood. At Lobster ME, which can be found on 3663 S Las Vegas Blvd, lobster rolls, shrimp fried rice, soups, and salads are all on offer, and feature some exquisite, fresh and salty seafood that is absolutely to die for! They’re very light on the wallet as well, and typically have a number of daily specials for the budget-conscious traveler.

6. Beijing Noodle 9

Beijing Noodle 9 is a Chinese restaurant that is, ironically, located within the halls of Caesars Palace. That being said, it isn’t the typically overpriced, gourmet food that you expect from a luxury hotel. Instead, Beijing Noodle 9 offers travelers humongous portions that can easily be shared, along with a ton of different entrees that are fantastic to prepare you for a long night out on the Strip! We highly recommend paying this place a visit if you’re not looking for the absolute cheapest meal, and would like to try some of the fine dining options in Las Vegas.

7. Julian Serrano Tapas

In Spain, tapas, which means small eats, are literally given out for free when patrons of a bar or restaurant purchase a drink. While Vegas isn’t Spain, Julian Serrano Tapas might as well be doing the same thing! Here, you’ll find extremely affordable tapas, a great selection of wines and beers, and a ton of daily specials that you can choose from. The best part? A meal here typically includes sampling a number of different dishes and entrees, rather than one large portion of a meal. If you’re feeling experimentative, this is an excellent place to spend an evening prepping for the night out.
