1. Join a meetup group
Have you ever heard of meetup.com? The Las Vegas group is thriving! There's a meetup group for just about anything you can think of, from a group for rock music lovers to photography clubs, mountain biking clubs, wine tastings, or political discussions. Tons of groups welcome tourists. I've been to several "Girls Night Out" meetup events and honestly have made some friends that I see myself hanging out with every time I come to Sin City.
2. Volunteer
I met some genuine friends volunteering at Three Square. Volunteers can sort and pack food for children, organize dinners, and rally for donations. Here's why I love it- not only is this a great social scene to become involved in, but it can also be very fulfilling. Find a cause you believe in and get involved. It's a great way to find like-minded people.
3. Go to museums.
I find museums to be great places to meet new people. The museum environment has plenty to see, so it helps me relax and find things to talk about as I get to know people. Thankfully, Las Vegas is home to many museums, including the Neon Museum, Mob Museum, Hollywood Cars Museum, and many more.
4. Karaoke Bars/lounges
When I first moved to Las Vegas, I was surprised by how friendly everyone at the karaoke bars is. This is because the Las Vegas karaoke bars provide a friendly ambiance suitable for anybody seeking relaxation and a'nice time' lounging. My favorite karaoke bar is Ellis Island. I visit this bar regularly to sing my heart out.
