It's no secret that
Allegiant Stadium was created as a home for the
Las Vegas Raiders, but they aren't the only ones taking advantage of this state-of-the-art facility. Everyone from WWE to the MLS has held events in the new stadium and even more will in the future. Allegiant Stadium is one of the premier venues in the country, and it's had a big impact on Las Vegas.
According to the stadium's website, $2 billion was spent on construction and the venue is raking in over $620 million a year. Whether that's true or not is anyone's guess and depends on what numbers they are going by, but that is still a lot of money flowing into the Las Vegas economy!

One of the best events by far had to be when
Allegiant Stadium played host to
WWE SummerSlam on August 21, 2021. The event was headlined by
John Cena versus
Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship. The undercard was also stacked with surprises, including a return by
Becky Lynch and
Bobby Lashley defeating Goldberg by referee stoppage. This all made for quite an interesting show and even prompted the company to decide to come back in July of 2022 for their Money in the Bank pay-per-view.

Another big event was the
Las Vegas Raiders' first home game at Allegiant Stadium, which took place on September 21, 2021, against the
Baltimore Ravens. The game went into overtime, where
Derek Carr connected with
Zay Jones for a walkoff touchdown to end things 33-27. While that might not sound like a big deal, it was the first time fans were allowed inside the stadium for a Raiders game due to the pandemic. Unfortunately, the Raiders have gone 2-6 at the venue in total and will probably have to look well past 2022 to get a positive record.

Garth Brooks,
Guns N Roses and the
Rolling Stones. The venue is also scheduled to have
Metallica and
Billy Joel in February and a few more artists before the end of the year.

Pac 12 championship in December, the
Shamrock Series between
BYU and
Notre Dame, and the
Money in the Bank pay-per-view, which WWE will host in July. As if all that wasn t exciting enough, Allegiant Stadium is set to fulfill its destiny in 2024 when it will host the Super Bowl. It s no secret that this will be a HUGE event for the stadium.
