With March 17th falling on a Monday this year, Las Vegas is stretching the shenanigans across the entire weekend, giving you plenty of opportunities to wear something green and pretend you've suddenly discovered your long-lost Irish heritage.

The Underground's Liquid Luck
Start your festive weekend at
The Mob Museum's speakeasy,
The Underground, where they're serving holiday specials that would make even the most hardened mobster feel a wee bit sentimental.
From Friday, March 14 through Monday, March 17, you can sneak down to this basement bar for their Emerald Isle cocktail—a tantalizing mix of Midori, pineapple juice, and Jameson Irish Whiskey that pays homage to Ireland's 1920s liquor laws (which, unlike America's Prohibition, at least let you legally drown your sorrows).
Not feeling fancy? Their Shot & Beer Special lets you pair any draft beer with your spirit of choice. Open Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to midnight and Monday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Nine Fine Irishmen: As Authentic As It Gets (Without Boarding a Plane)
For an Irish experience so authentic they literally built it in Ireland and shipped it to Vegas (seriously, they did), head to
Nine Fine Irishmen at
New York-New York Hotel & Casino.
Named after a group of legendary Irish adventurers (who probably wouldn't mind having a pub named after them), this place serves traditional Irish fare made with the "freshest, natural Irish ingredients."

Locals rave about their Irish Stew and Shepherd's Pie, which pair perfectly with the stouts, ales, and lagers that flow as freely as the River Liffey.
For St. Patrick's Day, they're pulling out all the stops with food and drink specials, live entertainment, bagpipe parades, and nonstop music. Plus, they're the kickoff point for the annual parade—because walking in a straight line after a few pints is exactly the kind of challenge Vegas loves to throw at you.
Absinthe Revue: The "Other" Green Fairy
If your idea of celebrating involves witnessing jaw-dropping acrobatics while simultaneously clutching your pearls at outrageously raunchy comedy,
Absinthe at
Caesars Palace is your pot of gold.
While not specifically St. Patrick's themed, the show's "Green Fairy" aesthetic makes it an appropriately emerald-tinged choice for the holiday.

Here's the plot: The Gazillionaire (who's both filthy rich and just plain filthy) has assembled an international cast of extraordinary performers who defy both gravity and good taste on an intimate stage. Fair warning: if you're in the front row, you'll be handed a plastic sheet for protection during one of the wilder acts. That's Vegas-speak for "you're welcome."
Shows run Sunday through Thursday at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m., with Friday and Saturday performances at 7 p.m., 9 p.m., and 11 p.m. Located inside The Green Fairy Garden at Caesars Palace, tickets start at $129 and the show is strictly for those 18 and above.
The 80-minute runtime with no intermission means you'll have plenty of time to continue your St. Paddy's celebrations afterward.
Tilted Kilt: Where Ireland Meets Scotland (and No One Asks Questions)
For those who don't mind a bit of cultural confusion in their celebration,
Tilted Kilt offers a "Celtic-themed" environment that somehow involves Scottish kilts, Irish drinks, and American sports bars in one gloriously shameless package. Their Irish Hooley menu for St. Patrick's Day features green beer (naturally), Irish car bombs (the drink, not the... never mind), and a parade of other festive specials.
With 40 HD big screens, 48 ice-cold draft beers, and the famous Tilted Kilt Girls enhancing the scenery, this two-level establishment promises views of all kinds. Live entertainment includes Irish dancers, bagpipers, and DJs—because nothing honors St. Patrick like mixing traditional Celtic music with Top 40 hits. Find them at the
Rio Hotel and Casino, in the heart of the Strip.
Sugar Factory: For a Sweet Finish
For those with a sweet tooth (and a tolerance for all things artificially green),
Sugar Factory in the
Miracle Mile Shops is transforming into a leprechaun's dream. Their St. Paddy's Day popup menu features green-bunned sliders, Irish grilled cheese sandwiches stuffed with corned beef, and fries sprinkled with parsley (because that counts as "going green," right?).
The real stars are the drinks and desserts: The Leprechaun comes loaded with ice cream, Irish whiskey,
coffee, whipped cream, gold "coins" (chocolate), and candy. If that's too intense, their green sangria offers a refreshing alternative.
They're also serving Guinness Irish Onion Soup, pub-style pretzels, and the classic corned beef and cabbage with potatoes—because after all that sugar, you might need something resembling actual nutrition.
The entire restaurant is decked out in green streamers with inflatable photo opportunities, ensuring your social media followers know exactly how you're spending the holiday.

Whether you're a Vegas local looking to shake up your routine or a tourist seeking the perfect St. Patrick's Day lucky charms, Sin City delivers the luck of the Irish with its own special twist of neon, excess, and unapologetic fun. Just remember: what happens in Vegas on St. Patrick's Day probably happened because of green beer—plan accordingly!
