Speaking of coaches, the former Assistant coach of the San Antonio Spurs, Becky Hammon, signed on to be the Las Vegas Aces' new head coach in 2022. While Hammon was originally in consideration for several NBA head coaching jobs, team owners had trouble giving her a chance due to what they perceived as a lack of experience. That didn't bother the Aces, though, who hired Hammon and are expected to have one of the best seasons in the organization's history.
