#1 Derek Carr willing to take a pay cut to get Devontae Adams on the Las Vegas Raiders
One of the biggest what-ifs this offseason has to be what the Las Vegas Raiders will do to improve their team. While a lot of that will come down to making changes on the defense, there is still some retooling the offense could use as well. The biggest has to be another wide receiver capable of taking the load off of Hunter Renfrow as Derek Carr's go-to guy.
With that being said, there are growing rumors that Green Bay Packers wide receiver Devontae Adams could be willing to come to Las Vegas to reconnect with Carr. There are also rumors floating around that Carr is willing to take a pay cut to make the deal happen. Of course, Adams leaving Green Bay seems to be contingent on whether Aaron Rodgers stays put, but if he does, word has it that the Raiders will make a play for him.
"I one hundred percent believe Derek Carr would take less money if it went into the Davante [Adams] pool," Sports Illustrated's Hondo Carpenter said on Raider Nation Radio 920 AM. "Let's just say that I believe that with 100 percent certainty based on a conversation I have had with people who are in the know. If Derek has to take a little bit less to get Davante, he will."
