It's no secret that a lot of this team's future depends on retaining A'ja Wilson in 2022, and that's exactly why they can't allow the former MVP to slip through their fingers. In fact, this is the same woman that led the team to the WNBA Finals in 2020 after the loss of Kelsey Plum and Liz Cambage put them behind the eight ball from the beginning.

With that being said, Wilson is arguably the Ace's best scorer, their most experienced playmaker, and the driving force behind the squad. To lose her would be to start over. It'll be hard to replace the chemistry that the Aces have with Wilson at the helm, which is why signing her is a must.
