This may be a popular pastime in other states but in Las Vegas, feeding pigeons is strictly not allowed. These feathered creatures are blamed by government officials, seen as the culprits behind destroyed buildings and attacks on pedestrians. To discourage them from making their homes in the city, law dictates that those caught feeding pigeons are liable for a jail term of up to six months.
