The Las Vegas Raiders took on the Cincinnati Bengals Saturday afternoon in an attempt to their playoff hopes alive, but it didn't happen that way. Unfortunately for the 9-7 team that endured controversy after controversy, they were outdone by a very game Joe Burrow and the Bengals. The final blow was an interception in the game's closing seconds that allowed the Bengals to take a knee and win the game.
Derek Carr went 29 of 54 for 310 yards, one touchdown, and the interception that ultimately cost them the game. Joshua Jacobs contributed with 13 carries for 83 yards and an average of 6.4 yards a carry. Daniel Carlson, however, who went 4/4 for 13 points and the longest field goal of 47 yards, was the biggest contributor. The man was the glue that helped keep the Raiders in the game all afternoon long, but it just wasn't enough.
