#1 Las Vegas Raiders not interested in signing Derek Carr to a long term contract

While Derek Carr will likely be the starting  Quarterback for the Las Vegas Raiders in 2022, that doesn't exactly mean he's their future. In fact, according to a new report from the Athletic's Vic Tafur, Las Vegas might not be interested in signing Carr to a long-term deal until he proves himself. 

"It's not a question of whether you like Carr if you're the Raiders," The Athletic's Vic Tafur wrote this week. "He has one year left on his deal, so here's the question: Do you give him $150 million-plus and tie yourself to him shortly after putting your family photos on your new desks? And I have SERIOUS doubts the Raiders will do that."
