While it was assumed that the signing of Aaron Rodgers meant Davantae Adams would stay with the Green Bay Packers, that turned out not to be the case. In fact, the former Pro Bowl wide receiver asked to be traded to the Raiders just days after Rodgers's contract extension was announced.

Adams will now come to Las Vegas and team up with Derek Carr, who needs another weapon in his receiving arsenal. Watching the two together should be very interesting. Not only does this give opposing defenders one more stand-out receiver to cover, but it also allows Carr to capitalize on his throwing power. This is a big move for the Las Vegas Raiders and could be the impetus for a playoff run at the end of the season.
