A'ja Wilson has been an instrumental part of the Las Vegas Aces' success this season, and that's part of why she is already racking up hardware. The former WNBA MVP was named Western Conference Player of the Week for the eighth time, a franchise record for Las Vegas. She won the honor after averaging 23 points, 11 rebounds, and making over 50% of her field goals.

 Wilson also won Western Conference Player of the Month honors in May. This comes while The Las Vegas Aces are amid their best season as a team and are being led by new Head Coach, Becky Hammon. Maybe Hammon is fueling Wilson's success? The whole team seems to be stronger due to her leadership.
