This restaurant’s name is officially Blackout: Dining in the Dark, and with good reason! The restaurant features pitch-black interiors, and guests are left (almost!) blind inside. The catch? They provide you with night vision goggles and special neon lights so that you can see exactly what they want you to see. Staff, as well as objects in the restaurant such as tables, glasses, and more all feature some sort of lighting so as to make them identifiable. The logic behind this kind of dining experience is sort of counter-intuitive to 21st-century life - As we interact with so many screens today, we rarely take the time to indulge our other senses during meals. At Blackout, you can’t help but do so as you quite literally won’t be able to see!
