1. Beatles, LOVE, Mirage
Originally, Cirque du Soleil was founded on the premise of spreading Canadian history through street performances and circus acts, featuring spectacular acrobatics, unique human performances, and incredibly detailed production value. Since then, Cirque has carried on with that premise, but also expanded upon it, telling stories from around the world. This particular show features an audiovisual treat that is centered around the catalog of arguably the most popular musicians in history - the Beatles. With themes that include the psychedelic movement, political and social issues of the 60s, the Vietnam War, and much more, this show features the Beatles’ All you need is Love album and produces fantastic visual performances to match the Fab Four’s timeless classic.

2. KA, MGM Grand
A Cirque original, KA is a more action-oriented production from the Canadian performance group. Set amidst the backdrop of war, KA follows the stories of a brother and a sister who are separated from each other and end up on opposing factions of the war. The story follows the brother, who is in a quest to find his sister, as well as the sister’s perspective as she waits to be reunited with her brother. Unlike other Cirque productions, KA adopts a simple and easily comprehensible storyline, with a particular emphasis on action-centric stunts. Most notably, the show features a dynamic, hydraulic stage that performers do their stunts on and with it being a rotational stage, the results are pretty spectacular.

3. Michael Jackson ONE, Mandalay Bay
Much like the Beatles’ show, this one serves as Cirque’s show based on the King of Pop himself. Featuring a state-of-the-art surround sound experience, this show adds a ton of visual elements to the already dynamic and magical music made by Michael Jackson. With a story loosely set on the life of Jackson, as well as musical adaptations of his work, Cirque creates a truly memorable and unique experience that is, arguably, one of the greatest tributes to Michael Jackson himself. His impact on the dance and music industry is made abundantly clear with this production, as the story follows a number of different personalities struggling to deal with the highs and lows of global fame, giving audiences a unique and tasteful insight into the mind of the King of Pop.

4. Mystere, Treasure Island
Mystere is the longest-running Cirque production in Las Vegas, and has been a standard since 1993! If you’ve ever wondered why the answer isn’t a complicated one - Mystere has always served as an introduction to what Cirque du Soleil is all about. While it doesn’t feature an in-depth story, it does make up for that with astounding acts from human performers, incredibly detailed sets, acrobatics, dances, music, lights, and much more! It is also meant to be very affordable compared to other Cirque shows, making it an excellent option if you’re just getting to know about Cirque du Soleil!

5. Zumanity, New York, New York
Although Cirque du Soleil is a Canadian company, one can’t help but feel that Zumanity is a tribute to the culture and extravagance of Sin City itself! With Las Vegas widely being considered as the entertainment capital of the world, Zumanity works as one of Cirque’s more mature and locally relevant shows in Vegas. With clear inspiration drawn from the burlesque shows, as well as the adult entertainment industry that Vegas is so well-known for, Zumanity is more of an erotic, raunchy and in some instances, comedic production than any of the other history-based ones. It even features a host, who just so happens to be a drag queen, and is centered around the idea of separation from polite, modest society. Here, audiences are encouraged to and shown the idea of letting their hair loose and going wild, providing an exaggerated and almost satirical perception of Las Vegas itself.
