#5 Roman Reigns will still be the champion when WWE comes to Las Vegas for MITB

Las Vegas Nevada was announced as the host city for the 2022 WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view, and Allegiant stadium will be packed with diehard fans! While not a lot is known about the match card for the evening, especially since it will be in July, there is a good chance that Roman Reigns will still be Universal Champion when WWE comes back to Sin City this year.

Not only is that evident by how high on Roman Reigns the WWE has been over the last year and a half, but also due to no one really being on his level anymore. For example, the company would need someone like the Rock or another big name to come out of retirement to face Roman Reigns, and that doesn’t seem very likely. This is why you can almost bet on acknowledging your tribal chief as Universal champion when he arrives in Allegiant Stadium.

#4 Kurt Busch will win a race

Las Vegas native Kurt Busch has a lot to accomplish in 2022, and it starts with winning a race during the 36 race schedule. Fortunately for Busch and the still-growing race team, the Cup Series schedules a lot of wild card races that they can take advantage of. The first big one will be The Clash at the  Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The next big race will be the Daytona 500, a big win to cross off the team's list. The point is there are a lot of big races for 23XI Racing to make a splash- how could there not be with a veteran driver like Kurt Busch behind the wheel?

Think about it! There are seven road courses, six short tracks, a dirt race, and four Super Speedway races. There is no way that Kurt Busch could go winless with the team and equipment he has behind him. It's going to happen. It's just a matter of when.

#3 The Las Vegas Golden Knights will make it the Stanley Cup Finals

The Las Vegas Golden Knights might have seemed like a team in freefall at the beginning of the season, but that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore. The team even rebounded from their 1-4 start to the 22-12 record they have now. Even better, the tandem of Robin Lehner and Laurent Brossoit are really meshing well and making it very difficult to get anything past them. The best part is that the Golden Knights don’t have all their weapons back yet.

This team might not have all the pieces in place right this second, but the playoffs are still months away. This means that anything wrong now can be accounted for and fixed before the postseason. There is also the matter of Jack Eichel’s eventual return to the ice, who could end up being one of the deciding factors in the Golden Knights' playoff hopes.

#2 Las Vegas Aces will win a championship

There’s just something about the Las Vegas Aces that screams championship, and it’s getting harder and harder to ignore. The team already signed San Antonio Spurs Assistant Coach Becky Hammon over the offseason and could be eyeing some other transactions to perfect their roster. Between new additions, a new coach, and the squad they already have, it might finally be time to hang a championship banner for the Las Vegas Aces.

The team has a stacked roster of Liz Cambage, A’ja Wilson, Kelsey Plum, Chelsea Gray, Riquna Williams, and several key bench players. In fact, the depth this team has with bench players like Dearica Hamby, Jackie Young, and Angel McCougthry could end up being that deciding factor. They just need to develop more chemistry, and they might become an unstoppable force in the WNBA.

#1 The Las Vegas Raiders will stick with Derek Carr as their Quarterback in 2022

Derek Carr has been at the center of the Las Vegas Raiders' quarterback controversy for two years now and it doesn’t seem to be getting better.

In 2020 and 2021 a lot of the problem was the defense, who had some of the worst numbers in the league. They gave up a lot of yards in the air but had an even bigger problem against the running game. This means Carr hasn’t had a defense capable of keeping the opposing team out of the endzone and isn’t getting the rest he needs in between drives. Add in a struggling running game that is plagued with injuries and you can see why Carr had such a hard time.
