1. Hachi Japanese Yakitori Izakaya




Hachi is a Japanese Izakaya located in Chinatown. The restaurant offers an extensive robata menu with dishes that include grilled mackerel, bingo-tan charcoal grill chicken, grilled squid with teriyaki sauce and spicy mayo, cheese chikuwa with mozzarella cheese wrapped with fish cake, cherry tomatoes wrapped with bacon, beef tongue, and tsukune made with ground pork.

2. Raku

Mitsuo Endo was nominated twice for the James Beard Foundation Best Chef West award. He's also done a great job at his restaurant Raku, where he offers Robata dishes from $1.25 per skewer to $17.50. Some mouthwatering servings include enoki mushroom wrapped with bacon, yellowtail with glazed soy-based sauce, tomato, Kurobuta pork cheek, pork ear, and grilled chicken thighs. Raku is located in Chinatown, where they operate until 3 a.m.

3. Mizumi




Mizumi is located at the Wynn. Some of the servings offered include sea scallops with spicy miso sauce, saikyo miso sea bass, whole grilled bone marrow, and Alaskan king crab.

4. SushiSamba


 

Imagine a unique blend of Japanese, Brazilian, and Peruvian dishes in one restaurant – SushiSamba. The restaurant offers items served from the Robata grill. These include Hamachi with key lime and su-shoyu, duck breast with sansho pepper vinaigrette, asparagus, whole squid with lemon aioli, and cherry tomatoes.

5. Otoro Robata Grill & Sushi


Otoro Robata Grill & Sushi is located at the Mirage, where they offer an extensive list of Robata dishes. Their servings include day boat scallops, Chilean sea bass, Japanese eggplant, shishito peppers, pork belly, baby lamb chop, and togarashi sirloin steak. The splendid setting allows guests to order dishes at the bar as they overlook the casino floor.

The restaurant's robata grill serves rib-eye steak with chili ponzu, glazed ribs with cashew nut and scallion, jumbo tiger prawn with yuzu pepper, grilled skewers of salmon filet with teriyaki sauce, spicy lamb with pickled onion, and skirt steak with shisho lime.

7. Kyara Japanese Tapas


 

Located just north of the 215 on Jones Boulevard, the Kyara Japanese Tapas in Spring Valley is an amazing restaurant. Their unique servings include jidori dishes, squid, asparagus bacon, mocha bacon, shiitake mushrooms, shishito peppers, and pork belly. They operate late into the night until 2 a.m. Surprisingly, all their servings cost under $13.
