Ladies and gentlemen, these five people are the worst of the worst in Las Vegas sports. They've left a bad taste in the mouths of fans everywhere, and Las Vegas wants nothing to do with them.
Here are five Las Vegas athletes in the Hall of Shame (according to us).
#5 Jimmy Garoppolo: Las Vegas Raiders Quarterback

It’s kind of funny how someone can end up in the Hall of Shame after less than a season, but Jimmy Garoppolo has earned that honor. He does so after one of the worst performances by a Las Vegas Raiders quarterback. His previously undiscovered foot injury and a bad throwing arm were the biggest problems.
Garoppolo could easily make the short or medium pass to a receiver but was very limited with the long ball. This greatly hindered Las Vegas’ offense and made it almost impossible to get down the field. He remained the starter despite this for some reason. He turned out to be just another $72 million wasted and should have been dropped as soon as it was realized he didn't disclose his foot injury.
#4 Pete Deboer: Former Las Vegas Golden Knights Head Coach

Another man deserving a spot in the Las Vegas Hall of Shame is former Golden Knights Pete Deboer. He served as head coach from 2020 to 2022 and had mixed results. His biggest crime, however, is that he never led the Las Vegas Golden Knights to a championship despite all the pieces being in place.
Deboer is also the head coach who got rid of Marc-Andre Fleury after his historic performance in the 2021 Stanley Cup playoffs. Las Vegas Golden Knights fans were hoping that Robin Lehner would be the one to get the ax due to bad performances, but Deboer and management had other plans.
The final nail in Deboer’s coffin had to be his up-and-down performance during the 2022 season. Las Vegas had even built a big lead in the Pacific division before watching it all tumble down. Thanks to injuries, poor play, and bad decision-making by Deboer, the Golden Knights missed the playoffs for the first time that year.

#3 Las Vegas Native Ryback: Former Pro Wrestler for WWE

Ryback is one of the most controversial names in pro wrestling, and no major promotion has touched him in years. Much of this is due to constant rants on X and disgusting remarks made towards his former employers. He even went so far as to mock Vince McMahon’s mother's death.
He has single-handedly burned every bridge in the pro wrestling world, leaving him out of work for five years. Ryback has also tried to post polls on X to gauge fans' interest in his return, but they keep telling him to stay retired. It’s a running joke now; he just does it for publicity. This is a man who was once considered one of the next big things in pro wrestling.
#2 Riquina Williams: Las Vegas Aces Guard

There should be no place in Las Vegas sports anymore for Riquina Williams after her domestic abuse charges in 2023. The Aces guard was charged with multiple counts of domestic violence against her wife, which resulted in her suspension. The charges have been dropped, but Williams’s suspension is still in place, and she's likely gone for good.
She doesn’t belong on a team that is supposed to champion women’s rights. The Aces have already run into trouble in this category after the Dearica Hamby incident and need to be careful what they do here.
#1 Josh McDaniels: Former Las Vegas Raiders Head Coach
[caption id="attachment_42357" align="alignnone" width="1024"]

Las Vegas Raiders fans endured two years under Josh McDaniels, but it’s finally over. McDaniels is officially out after a lopsided loss to the Lions in November. He finishes his time with a 9-16 record, which has to rank among the worst of any head coach ever.
McDaniels' biggest crimes include signing Jimmy Garoppolo to a three-year, $72 million deal, not working on the defense, and refusing to utilize top talent. This is the guy who lost to Jeff Saturday and the Colts. He tried to sell everyone on this vision that he had learned under Bill Billichek and knew what he was doing.
McDaniels isn’t going to earn the respect of any locker room after the stuff that has come out about him. He overworks his players, doesn’t listen to outside input, and makes horrible decisions. He is the worst thing to happen to Las Vegas since Jon Gruden, and no one’s going to miss him.
