Las Vegas sports fans are on edge over the idea of WrestleMania returning to Sin City. While Minneapolis is still considered the frontrunner for hosting honors, WWE Vice President Nick Khan appears to be hinting at Las Vegas still being in the running. This would mark the first return to Sin City in 31 years.

The last time the show came to Las Vegas was in 1992 when the company hosted it at Caesars Palace. This show is remembered as one of the worst in history, which is why some believe the company hasn't returned in decades.

According to Arash Markazi of the Sporting Tribune, "WWE president Nick Khan wasn’t ready to announce the location of WrestleMania in 2025 just yet, but he said you can assume it won’t be in an outdoor East Coast stadium again... Las Vegas is one of the cities under consideration.”

The Las Vegas Golden Knights have sealed their fate after a 4-1 loss to the Ducks on Thursday. That and the Kings scoring in overtime locks the Golden Knights into a first-round fight with the Dallas Stars—a team they have done surprisingly well against in the past.

“Every team that's left standing is a good hockey team,” said Jack Eichel after the beatdown by the Ducks. “There's no easy path to winning. We understand every game's going to be a battle. I think we should be pretty excited. It's a great opportunity for our team."

Las Vegas is 3-0 against the Stars this season, and their last game resulted in a 6-1 victory.

Aj’a Wilson is a lot of things, but is jealous one of them?  The two-time WNBA Finals champion is now accused of being jealous of Caitlyn Clark’s hype. Some even speculate she is upset over Clark's upcoming deal with Nike. Wilson, however, had this to say about Clark and the rest of the draft class.

“lol, no one is jealous, bookie!"  Wilson said on X. "I have no reason to be lol I truly Wish all 143 the best fr ! Our league is hard as hell so to thrive and to stay in it consistently.. is huge! So please stop with this jealous stuff:”

The two will face off for the first time when the Aces take on the Fever at home on May 29. Tickets are already sold out for the must-watch matchup as the Caitlyn Clark effect continues.

#1 Aidan O’Connell is ready for competition

[caption id="attachment_50302" align="alignnone" width="1024"]Aidan O'Connell, Las Vegas Raiders, 2024 NFL draft, Source. Raiders[/caption]

It’s not easy to put in the kind of work Aidan O’Connell did last year and still have to fight for your starting job. Unfortunately, that's the situation he finds himself in after the Las Vegas Raiders acquired Gardner Minshew earlier this offseason. The team is also expected to take a quarterback in the upcoming draft.

While the odds might be firmly stacked against O’Connell, the second-year Raider commented that he’s used to competition and can’t wait to see how everything plays out.

"I think especially at this level, and I thought the same thing at Purdue, but especially at this level, there's going to be competition," O'Connell said via the team's official website. "I mean, it's the best of the best. The coaches and administration want to bring in the best players possible to try to make the team better, and the best guys are going to play, so I'm just trying to do my job."
