Believe it or not, the injury bug hit the Las Vegas Golden Knights early and often throughout the first part of the 2021 season and they are only now starting to regroup from the mess. That mess started on October 12, when Nicholas Roy, Mattia Janmark, Brett Howden, Jake Bischoff, and William Carrier all fell victim to injuries during the first game of the season. That was followed up by veteran Alex Stone suffering an undisclosed injury three days later. As if that wasn’t enough, the Golden Knights also lost Max Pacioretty, Alec Martinez, and several others before the first month of the season were even over.

Another big problem is the recent lower back injury of Robin Lehner, who will need Laurent Brossoit to take his place during a crucial part of the season. Pacioretty also recently suffered a wrist injury in December, leaving the team without another cornerstone of their organization. Will the injury bug ever come to an end?
