As much as fans of the Las Vegas Golden Knights were excited to see what happened next after a victory against the Seattle Kracken, they had to have noticed cracks in their armor. In fact, between allowing two goals in the second period of the game to a newly formed team and almost losing the game in the final minutes of the contest, it was obvious that there was a lot to improve on as the season went on.

These cracks grew bigger in a 6-2 blowout to the Los Angeles Kings and were made even worse in a 3-1 loss against the St. Louis Blues. The Knights were now 1-2 and desperately in need of some momentum to turn things around. That didn’t happen right away, though, and the Knights would next suffer a 5-3 loss to the Edmonton Oilers. This resulted in a 1-4 record and one of the worst starts to their season in years.
