2. The Killers

Perhaps one of the most well-known bands to have come out of Las Vegas, The Killers have sold more than 18 million records worldwide, garnering widespread critical acclaim with their 2004 debut album, Hot Fuss. And their momentum has only grown since then. The band was formed in 2001 by lead singer Brandon Flowers who would sneak the rest of the members into a room at the UNLV to jam and write songs together.
