The Las Vegas Aces made headlines last week by signing center Kalani Brown to a contract, and while she may need time to grow into the role, it could end up being a good fit. Of course, people will be quick to compare her to Liz Cambage, who verbally announced she was signing with the Los Angeles Sparks a week ago, but that might not be the intention.

For example, if the Aces could just make a few more key signings over the offseason and find ways to get more points from the bench, they might not need Brown in a scoring capacity. This would make her primary duties rebounding, blocking, stealing, and contesting shots. She is already six foot seven and has had very few turnovers, so she's obviously very capable.
