It’s no secret that The Las Vegas Aces are bound for greatness and on the verge of winning the WNBA Championship, but they need a few more pieces in place to get there. Fortunately for Las Vegas, the WNBA draft took place last Monday, and the Aces used the opportunity to bring some big playmakers to the team. I

They started by drafting Myla Hollingshed 8th overall and was followed up by Kierstan Bell as the 11th overall pick and Kayla Pointer in 13th. They later drafted Aisha Sheppard and Faustine Aifuwa. This gives the team an interesting mix of offensive and defensive power, which could be the added depth the bench needs to go far this season. Who knows if they can replace Liz Cambage, though?
