#2 Rumor places Kurt Busch at 23XI Racing in 2022

Rumor has it that 23XI Racing, co-owned by Denny Hamlin and Michale Jordan, will add a second driver to their team next year, creating massive conversations about who will join the thriving team.
While nothing is a done deal yet, the Athletic is reporting that 23XI racing has Kurt Busch on their shortlist of drivers they would like to see racing for the organization next season.
According to Jordan Bianchi of the Athletic, "Busch said Saturday he hasn't had any contract talks with either Chip Ganassi Racing or 23XI Racing, saying any discussion would begin sometime this summer, and language in his contract precludes him from talking to other organizations."
Now, this is bizarre because many thought Busch would retire at the end of the 2021 season. Is he really going to be in a position to win another championship?
