While Las Vegas Raiders fans were hoping that RIch Bissacia would be tapped as permanent head coach after his 7-5 run with the team last year, it didn’t end up happening that way. Instead, the Raiders decided to hire former Denver Broncos head coach Josh McDaniels, who also spent time under Bill Belichick in New England. The move was a surprise, especially since, Jim Harbough was originally rumored for the role, but McDaniels seems excited about the opportunity to take the Raiders to the next level
"This is one of those iconic places," McDaniels said when asked about his new coaching job in Las Vegas, "and it's a historic organization that has unbelievable history and tradition... It was easy to make the choice."
