Liz Cambage made headlines when she called out the Las Vegas Aces for offering Becky Hammon a multi-million dollar deal, and many thought it would be the end of Cambage's time with the team. That ended up being the case after Cambage verbally committed to the Los Angeles Sparks during the offseason, but she did take the time to clarify that he holds no ill will towards Hammon. She's happy about the coach's deal but feels that it's wrong for players to be getting paid so little.

"I find myself saying, 'If not me, then who?' And if not now, then when?'" Cambage said. "If something's not right, I'm going to question it. And I'm also the type of person, I never want to take away from what someone else has. I want to work out how we can get more. I hate to see things that I've said be portrayed that I'm trying to take away from someone else. "
