The McWilliams campground is an excellent destination if you are looking for a campsite far from the Strip. It takes close to an hour to get here, but it's worth the drive. It is a beautiful area at the foot of Mount Charleston. Whether you choose to visit in the hotter or cooler months, you will have a good time. The campsite caters to tent or RV campers. You can enjoy the scenic environment, explore the nature trails for a hike, or head out to Big Falls, which are slightly more than twenty minutes away.
