Kurt Busch will be driving for 23XI Racing in 2022, and to say that there are a lot of expectations that come with this deal would be an understatement. Busch already revealed that team co-owner, Michael Jordan, stressed the importance of winning this season and that he would accept nothing less. Now that doesn't mean Busch is out of a ride in 2023 because he has a two-year deal with 23XI Racing, but it means 2023 will become his contract year. 

 Busch needs to win a race in 2022, and the sooner, the better! Fortunately for him, the addition of eight road courses and the chaotic Cup series schedule might make it easier. There will definitely be opportunities. He just might need a little luck from Santa to seal the deal.
