It's official. The Las Vegas Golden Knights have been knocked out of playoff contention, marking the first time this has happened in the organization's short history. The deciding factor in their elimination was the Dallas Stars scoring in regulation and securing the final spot. 

Honestly, between Robin Lehner announcing that he was undergoing season-ending surgery and half of the roster still roughed up from various injuries, the team was doomed from the start.
